Dropper post with a shim ?
The secret rider

Looking to get a thomson dropper for the cannondale.
Question is when I build something else if I continue to enjoy riding something really smart like a Bronson or something the seat post is smaller 30.6 not 31.6 like on the dale.
So with this in mind and the cost of the thomson post is it worth getting a small size and shimming up ?
27.1 plus shim ? That way you have apost for all frames no matter what ?
