Cycle to work

I can get a nice new road bike on the cycle to work scheme using Halfords, however I am aware that they can order bikes in etc so you aren't limited to boardmans which I don't really want. I plan on spending the full £1k on a road bike and am struggling for anything better than this:

Cube Peleton Race

Are there any other suggestions? I am not too bothered about full carbon, I would prefer minimum of Tiagra and decent wheels.

I am a bit confused by the cube sizing? I am 5'8" with 29" inside leg - would the 56cm be the right size as everyone seems to talk about sizing up for cubes?

Many thanks.

Just realised halfords allow Dolan bikes on the scheme.

Any thoughts on this compared to the cube? Dolan L'etape carbon.

Struggling to paste a link from my phone for some strange reason.

Be careful on pricing, Halfords may not give you the discounts that other stores are offering on bought-in bikes.

Noted thanks. Both bikes above are full price at £999.
