Just to clarify; 11sp hub is compatible with 10sp cassette but not the other way round? Thinking of ordering some wheels which are 8/9/10/11 speed compatible but I currently run 5700 105 and would like to future proof if and when I upgrade to 11speed.

Ok, cheers. Farsports carbon clinchers is what I am looking at. States 8/9/10/11 speed so thinking I should be fine. Probably just a spacer or something to go to 11sp?0 -
11 speed wheels are normally supplied with the spacer required to make them compatible with 10 speed cassettes.Red bikes are the fastest.0

That's right. Although as soon as you have 11 speed wheels you will have to buy 11 speed especially 5800.0 -

Mmm, that is the problem Mark. The new 5800 looks very nice. The 5700 I run now is fine but can be a little clunky.0
