Specialized romin size help!

I have a 143 romin gel on my main bike which feels fine but I want another for my second bike however
Specialized measured me and said I should be on a 155 bit I really can't decide whether to buy another 143 as I have no issues on it whatsoever or buy what they recommend based on my sitbones.
Which would you buy and why?
(P.s I'm not well off enough to buy one then buy the other if I get it wrong)
Thanks in advance

Specialized will exchange it if you don't get on with a particular size. You obviously have to buy it from a Specialized store though..0

I'd have thought that if you're comfortable on the current one, get another the same size. I'm pretty certain saddle width measurement isn't an exact science and at the end of the day, comfort counts.0

You may well get on with both, you may already be on the ideal saddle or the other might be a little better. Won't know without trying. Many shops will allow you exchange a saddle within a couple of weeks or a month provided it's not marked or damaged. I recently bought a Specialised Romin Evo Gel Expert in 143mm (they didn't have the 155mm that I thought would be best in stock) and they said I could exchange within 30 days. I tried it for a couple of weeks with some insulation tape protecting the rails from being marked by the clamp. Decided it was okay but maybe a little narrow so switched it. In my case the 155mm is better but I'm glad I tried both.
Call a few shops that stock the saddles you want to try and see which ones will accomodate you. I'd be willing to pay a couple of euro extra for the flexibility.0 -
Had a 143 Toupe on old Roubaix SL2 and still got one on winter/turbo bike.
Got a body fit when I brought new SL4 and they swapped the Romin saddle from 143 to 155 FOC, in fact they only had the Titanium rail version in stock so got free upgrade.
I would say the 155 is slightly more comfortable the longer I am in the saddle, but it's not ground shatteringly different.
I would suggest you go for the 155 because I highly rate Specailizeds BG fitting service and I am very happy with the way they set up the bike as it fits like a glove.
I would be very surprised if you found the wider saddle less comfortable than you current one.Just Kidding !
