Help releasing a nut from the fork

My bikes had been standing unused for 2 years, and now that I began to bike again, I decided to get them back into shape.

I'm having troubles with releasing the nuts on the bottom of the fork. I saw on other bikes that they're usually released with hex wrench, but unfortunately, that's not the case with my fork. I tired using locking pliers, but it didn't work.

Here's a link to pictures of the nut: http://imgur.com/a/y7s9A
It's basically just a round nut, without any visible way to release it...

I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

What is the fork? Looks like the bolt (if it is one) could be rounded off.

I should have mentioned it. It's a Suntour XC 60 front suspension fork.

It's not a bolt... And I can't get to the other side and round it off.
My fork is very similar to this one: http://forums.mtbr.com/tooltime/suntour ... 53451.html
But unlike me, he has allen bolts.

Allen key inside to remove the lower part then remove the retaining bolt........

Just a guess. Bug make model and year of fork would give us a clue.

Ah it is not serviceable. You are not meant to get the nut off.

Have a hood clean and look inside the hole in the nut.

    Have fun.

Yeah, I assumed it isn't, but I have an idea how to get pass that anyway. I'll make a small cut with an angle grinder, and then I'll be able to get it off with a screwdriver.

If you can't put it back together after, may not be the best idea!
