32-36t wide ratio or 23-28t close ratio

I use the bike as an XC high miler with a 1x9 setup but looking to upgrade to 10spd just need some advice on purchasing the right rear mech! Also any extra advice on a good cassette would be appreciated :wink:

    32-36 unless you're planning to run a road cassette... On cassettes then whatever suits your budget unless you run an alloy freehub, in which case XT.

    Excellent, thanks! Won't be using a road cassette- Currently a steel freehub with no plans to change
