I.D BB dimensions help

Just found out my BB has worn and i now need an urgent replacement. The bike is a trek excaliber 7 29er, 2014 model.

The markings on the original bb are 124.5mm end to end (square taper)
31mm cartridge diameter
21mm shaft diameter

bb 7420
bc 1.37 x 24t

L - 7.3 - R

Any guidance appreciated
I don't know enough to make smart r's remarks about peoples choice of parts 'n' things, yet!

    So any standard 73mm bb with have 124.5mm axle.

    Nothing out of the ordinary.

    Thanks for that, i've been reading all sorts of stuff and seeing things likebritish thread and italian thread and frying my own mind with what ifs!

    Think i'll go for a shimano un 55 in 122mm length if i can't get hold of a 124.5mm bb tomorrow.

    The bb 7420 suggests that it's a RPM 7420 BB which is only 122.5 mm anyway.
