Found in bike basket, what is it?

My wife locks her bike up outside Kingston station and regularly has rubbish dumped in the shopping basket on the front. She locks the bike up with the front towards the railings to minimise this, but it still happens. The other day she found this in her basket:

What is it? It's an unopened tin of whatever the stuff is, and someone paid £2.49 for it. Or, they stole it. Anybody know what it is?

It's a middle-eastern sweet - always keep meaning to try it. Also spelt halva. If the tin's unopened, give it a try?

Yes, tin is unopened. I gues the one we have is based on sunflower seeds.
We've got an ice cream maker too. Might be worth giving that a go.

Why are you fitting an ice cream maker to the commuter? Is this for in-ride refuelling? ;)

I must confess the ice cream maker wasn't in the basket. I feel bad for misleading you.

edit. Ice cream maker for mid ride refuelling. That's genius.
