11 speed freehub body

Can I fit a 9 speed cassette to an 11 speed freehub body? I've just bought a new pair of fulcrum racing 7's off eBay but there seems to be no spacer included?

Can I use a spacer? If so what size do I need?

    Pure guess work here but I would think if you fitted a Mavic 1.8mm spacer then you should be able to fit a 9 speed cassette on there.
