need a good 29er rear tyre

I am looking for some recommendations for a replacement tyre for the rear of my 29er hardtail. I have a scwalbe nobbly nic on both front and rear. On the front it is fine. The rear one is like riding on jelly. I've had to many moments now where the rear just wants to bounce around or slip out from under me. i have no confidence in this tyre on the rear so i need to replace it.
