Old bike to sell: Sell built or sell parts?

Hi
I've got this bike I built years ago with my brother as we had some old parts in the garage and the frame was going cheap (not a great frame but it was fun to build anyway!)
Anyway I'm wondering if it's worth taking the parts off and flogging them separately or selling the bike as is, and if so how much it would be worth?
I know it's not the best of rides but would rather sell it as it's gathering dust!
The main parts I think will be worth something is the forks (marchozzi bombers) and the brakes (Magura motion)
Thanks in advance for any advice/help.

None of the parts on it are really worth anything, not even the forks or brakes. It's all too old.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Well the forks fetch 50-70. But I'd just flog it as a job lot. Can't (and shouldn't) advise you on any price as per our rules.0

Thanks for your response.
Surprised the forks are worth so much!
Would you think it would be best to stick it on ebay?0 -
best way, people will pay what it's worth! Just make sure that advert is good and list the spec fully.0

Looks like my customised Carrera hellcat with its URT design. Difference is that I have avid elixr hydros, alex Rims and a airbased shock on mine . I'd sell it on ebay and emphasise the parts alot than the frame . I'm planning to do the same on my hellcat soon to make way for a fresh new roadieSpecialized Camber

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, you might want to fix the front brake first.I don't do smileys.

The Carrera looks smart! I think it's a little better kitted out than mine. Thanks for the advice I'll definitely emphasise the brakes and front forks.0 -
