Best roof bike carriers

Looking to buy a couple of roof bike carriers for one adult bike and one childs bike (16" or 20"). What do you guys recommend? I have seen the Cruz ones which are only about £18 each. I don't mind paying more for better though.

    For me it would have to be Atera Giro AF's.....I have three at they are very good. Have a look at www.roofbox.co.uk.

    I use Thule carriers that clamp the front fork legs and rear wheel and lock. They aren't cheap, but they give me peace of mind that any thief is going to have a hard time getting them and that they aren't going to come off the racks.
    I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
