Hey all,

I am new to the forum and the owner of the YouTube channel Team 9.8, 9.8 being the speed of gravity. The channel itself is more based on the gravity/AM side of mountain biking which is why we felt the name suited us. I mainly ride a Specialized Demo 8 II, but also have a Yeti 575, a Yeti DJ, and a Felt F15X. I look to be actively involved in the forum and hope that I can add to the available information on the site! 8)

We did just release a new video, Team 9.8's new crash and fail reel, episode 1. It consists of all of our recent crash/fail videos plus slow motion of each crash.

If you enjoy our videos please give them a like and subscribe to our channel. We also have facebook and instagram!

I look forward to getting to know all of you :D

9.8 is a measure of the acceleration caused by gravity, not the speed of it.

Gravity travels at the speed of light.

    Just sayin'.

    But welcome, anyway.

Well, more accurately it's 9.80665m/s/s, more often rounded to 9.8m/s/s or occasionally 9.81m/s/s.
Physics is important, it assists us in hurling ourselves off hills.

Nice to see some videos that aren't of fat, old middle aged men bumbling down the trails at walking pace, the Whole Enchilada trail looks feckin' awesome, added to my bucket list for sure!
