Hi Folks
My new full sussed turns up in a few weeks and i would like to do a skills course of some sort for complete beginners so i get the basics down before hitting the trails.
Anyone got experience of Skills courses/centres in the South East Nr to London area?
I have seen single track school from the surrey hills area who offer a full day for £105.
Any others about?
Cheers

What skills in particular do you want to learn. I know one very good professional skills coach, not too far away from you but he is better for jumps and technical riding rather than basic skills.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

I would recommend Purple Bike Shed at Swinley and also All Biked Up in Surrey Hills0

Cheers guys, I will check them out. Just got the dreaded email from canyon telling me delivery date has been put back a month. Makes it awful close to my BPW trip in a Middle May! Gulp!!MTB Trek 4300 Disc 1999

I can highly recommend Clive Forth. I had a 1 - 1 session with him last year and found it really helped my riding. The thing I was most happy about was, I may have not nailed everything he taught but you leave the session understanding how your movements effect the bike and you can analyse your self afterwards. So when I am practising a manual or what ever and it doesn't go quite right, I know what I did wrong and what I should do to correct it.
He kind of travels around the country so send him an email and see if he's in your area.0 -

This [for third vote]!
Also Nathan his young Padawan is also top notch.
Used Ukbikeskills twice now one public one private session. The ladder work is something to behold, wish I had that in my back garden!29er http://tinyurl.com/bs4flux
