Anybody placed an order with this company. Ordered a pair of Salice glasses as the website had them in stock, just received and email saying there out of stock due to high demand. Started doing a search on the company and they appear to be con men who do not deliver there goods. To early to say yet but my account was debited immediately as previous customers have experienced . Apparently they do not answer phone calls or emails. Anyone had any experience?

Just seen the TrustPilot reviews and it doesn't look good. Of course, it can be hard to tell the difference between deliberate fraud and plain incompetence.
If you want to get in touch with those behind it, take a look at

That gives you things like director's home address - you can even see an iOptix-branded car on Google street view!0 -
One of life's hard lessons Electron shepherd a bitter pill to swallow indeed. There are some obnoxious low life's out there, as there are good people. He will get his comeuppance one day and upset the wrong people. What makes it worse is that I stupidly paid for the item on debit card so I have zero redress.0

If you paid with a credit card, cancel your order and contact your credit card company explaining the situation and ask them to reverse the transaction.0

Wish I had lotus49. I had a moment of madness and paid by visa debit, school boy error, just did not foresee the possible implications.0

I'm sure there is to a lesser extent some re dress for debit card payments, it's worth contacting the issuer to check. I hope you get a result.0

Have a look here:
http://www.money.co.uk/article/1004510- ... -cards.htm
"However, most debit card providers are starting to offer a form of protection when you make purchases using your card. You have some protection for purchases made using Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, through something called Chargeback. (There is a similar purchase protection scheme in place for Amex charge cards.)
The scheme makes it possible for you to claim a refund if a purchase made using your debit card is unsatisfactory, if you are billed multiple times, if you don't receive goods you've paid for, or if your card is used fraudulently."0 -

I bought a pair of Salice 006's a few years ago from this company and the whole process was effortless & uneventful.0

Just wondering, have you tried to make further contact or have you just given up and assumed the product won't be delivered?0

Actually, now that I remember there were some technical issues with my order not going through properly so I ended up calling them and the transaction was completed on the phone.0
