Can anyone recommend a race cut or aero summer jersey size small in black or white or black and white price up to £50?

Not bothered about the make, but is has to be race cut as I cant stand jerseys flapping around, and must be the colour stated to go with the rest of my kit. But if possible I dont want to pay silly prices of course.

Thanks.

try the wiggle sale on dhb stuff. Definitely a black/white top in there.
  • Thanks, but there isn't anything there in the sale that I would class as race cut/aero. The Chevron and Goldline jerseys would count as that but they are £50+ and the goldline is only in red and black.

  • Aren't Merlin doing a sale on Etxeondo at the minute?

It's white and brown in size small down to £20, black and white are medium upwards.
  • Thanks all, I had a look at the Giordana jerseys, don't think the design is my thing though. Love Etxeondo stuff, I'll have a look.

I got an endura fs260 short sleeve jersey for £25 on eBay recently, very well fitting and well made race jersey.

If you don't mind fleabay, you may find a decent Assos Uno or SS.13 within budget which are pretty racy cut.

Decathlon Aerofit 900 or the 700 are a good tight fit for me in a small, nice quality and reduced to £39.99, not sure if they do the colourway you are after but worth checking out.

Santini in Sm or XS may work but the XS one I have is still a fairly loose fit.

Just to add I weigh in at 51kg and 1.65m tall.
  • I have a Mavic Espoir in XS (I think), its a very close fit and apart from being a cm loose on the arms it is perfect around the waist and chest. Not sure what colours are available though but think there is a black one (well there was when I bought mine a year or so back)

Just purchased the Sportful Bodyfit Pro ss jersey ... Fab piece of kit for around fifty notes.

Well worth a look on Probike kit or Bike inn ;)
Still thinking of something clever to say!
  • What is the fit like on Sportful jerseys? I buy a lot of Castelli gear and always have to buy one size larger, regardless of what the sizing says!
  • Sportful is pretty much exactly the same sizing as Castelli, although I found the sleeves on my Sportful jersey slightly tighter (not quite tight enough for my pathetic arms) than my Castelli jersey. This could just the cut of the jersey though.

They're both XXL simply due to my height and long arms but think I'll try XL next time to get a snugger fit. It will at least encourage me to shed a few more lbs!

I have a few sportful jerseys in medium. Great fit. Make sure you go for tge jerseys with race fit, I.e. bodyfit pro. Super comfy and big pockets. Shame I need to replace mine soon as they're slightly damaged from my lame method of pinning race numbers onto my jersey. Will definitely be replacing like for like.

Sportful tour jersey and sportful bodyfit jersey are about £55 on wiggle. Both are a pretty snug fit. I downsized on the tour jersey as the arms are seamless and stretchy (so smaller size does not pinch on the arms) and the fit ends up super snug. If I downsize on the bodyfit jersey the arms are too tight as they have seams. The aero version doesn't have seams but that seems a tighter fit anyway and it's more expensive.
  • Thanks for the reply's. Might have a trip down to Evans to try one on. They had some on display the last time I was in there.
