Just bought a couple of bikes to add to the collection. Bought myself a new 2014 Crush and the Wife a 2014 Orange 5 Diva (purple one). Will get a few more pics up later in the week, once i've modified the Crush

It reminds me of that skittles advert where everything he touched turns into skittles! Not sure why, but I love the colours. You just need to get the white bike coated in something bright now!

The white one is a a Specialized Myka elite. Wife's bike, but will be up for sale. As I the Stiffee.
I thought it was a bit like a pack of skittles as well.
The pot of gold is actually a fully refurbed '73 Morris Mini. Spec list is immense and finished off with a Slark Race Engines 1293

My green 5 is an ex Hope factory bike. Spec is very different to when I bought it.

Frame, bb and headset (Hope), £350. A lot less than half price and the frame is in a1 condition.

Did you purchase the hope frame recently?

I did a tour of the Hope factory last Oct and saw numerous Hope & employee's green colour mountain bikes and enquired about whether customers can get hold of the same green coloured products.
I was told they don't sell green items to the public [shame really]
The only way was if an employee sold the bike or frame 2nd hand.

Was that how you come by it? Or do you work at Hope?

It was bought from an employee. I think most of them get given bikes, even those that don't ride so much.

All this work you do to pay for these bikes you must have no time to ride them so I was thinking I could ride them for you.... But they will obviously stay at my house and you can ask me if you need to use one occasionally. sounds like a great deal at your end I'd be taking all the risks doing all the leg work. In two minds tbh I'd feel like you'd be taking advantage of my helpful nature.

I'm on Job seekers allowance at the minute. I used to be a search and rescue pilot in the RAF. But when my wife got pregnant I decided to leave and am now thinking of studying to be a farmer. My brother is also in the Forces, but he flies Apaches for the Army, he's also the coolest Ginger that's ever lived
