First bike for £600

Having ventured over to this side a couple of times now I'm looking to buy my first road bike.
I normally ride a Trek full sus, but would like a road bike to compliment it and for training rides and general getting the miles in early morning and evening. This is partially due to our little one arriving the end of May, and want something I can just jump on for an hour without the need to stip down after every ride and clog the washing machine up with dirty kit.
My budget is £600, with no room for creeping . I prefer looks over form, as I can upgrade when things break, and without the other half really knowing.
So far I've seen the genesis volant 00 : http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Genesis-Volant- ... _67513.htm
And the specialised allez : http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Specialized-All ... _64997.htm
Felt f95 : http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Felt-F95-2014-R ... _67293.htm
And that's it really... Any suggestions?
Cheers!!

The 2013 Felt F95 is £400 at Wiggle.
Another option is the new aluminium version of the Planet X RT58. Carbon fork, Tiagra. Looks great in my opinion. £600.0 -
If this is your first road bike, the most important thing is getting a bike which fits you. Different manufacturers have different sizing and frame geometry. The large number of bikes now available, and the curse of the internet, means that it's easy to spend hours comparing specifications but this can be pretty pointless- most bikes at a particular price point will have similar spec, and the difference between (say) sora and tiagra is less significant than many people imagine.
Rather than upgrade your first bike, if you get into road riding you can buy a better bike and relegate your first bike to a winter/training bike.
Is there a decent bike shop near you where you could try out a few bikes and where they would make sure you get the right size?0 -
Merida Race Lite
Wheelies have for 539 in a size 52 which is a medium in their sizing
