I've got an SLX triple crankset at the moment

Have ordered a Hope retainer ring for a X1 conversion

I've just been thinking... will I need different bolts? :shock:

You will most likely need shorter bolts if your just using a ring and no bash.

Yup, doesn't work with the original bolts.

If anyone is interested, I've shed 511g of weight by ditching front mech/shifter/chainrings
