Hi,
Any current deals on Garmin 500's or similar around at the moment? I've checked the likes of Amazon and the usual larger online stores.
If anyone can point me in the right direction It would be appreciated.

I was very happy with the 800 Performance pack on Amazon at £234ish, I bought the European City Navigator from some guy in the states off Ebay, this year's edition 18$ incl postage.

I use camelcamelcamel to check whether the price of stuff on Amazon is historically high or low. Since Amazon is usually one of the cheapest prices out there it's a very good indication of what you should be paying. For example:

I just purchased the edge 800 performance on Amazon for £234 this week. Best I could find. Good delivery too.

So far so good - nice piece of kit. Big upgrade for me and am really pleased so far.

Didn't buy the maps as I believe you can download them for free.
