Recently bought a jekyll 3 2013 and once id assembled it [it came basicly fully assembled] i still had this piece left over, wondering if you could tell me its purpose, thanks in advance

The Northern Monkey appears to be on the right track. It looks like a Syntace X-12 insert for a rear dropout:

There are 3 kinds where the threaded hole is central or has a 0.5mm or 1mm offset to allow the axle at one side to be moved up/down/back/forward to align the wheel. The picture in the OP has a zero printed on it indicating zero-offset. The one on the bike may be one of the eccentric inserts.
