Does anybody know anything about the Carrera Zelos MTB. I'm not that familiar with them, being a newbie.
Just wondered if they're any good. The one I'm looking at has got RockShox Judy forks in place of the standard ones, Shimano Deore V brakes & gearing. It looks a decent bike, but just wondered if anyone has any experience with them, & if they're worth it. It's available to me for £140 ono.
It will be used for part road & light off road, such as bridle paths & forest trails.
As this will be my 1st MTB, I don't just want to jump into it because it looks nice
Cheers

For light off road it will be fine, it's not a proper mountain bike as we would accept now.
As for value, that is 99% down to condition, but you should be able to buy a decent V-brake bike for sub £80.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
