    Me too.
I am trying to resist opening a Duvel in celebration that we have hit the cobbles big time.
Sporza HD on the big tv, lovely!

53ks and Boonen unleashes the fury. No one can follow. Sitting up somewhat now since he crested.

Breakaway down to 8 now. Lots of riders in between them and the group who have either attacked or been dropped.

No big guns showing their worth at the moment. No one wants to race too hard it looks like.

Terpstra can always be counted on. Huge attack at about 30kms.

    Very good racing so far.
Valverde done well: always close to the front.

Boonen still has his leg warmers pulled over his shorts like he did at the sign-in. Not a good look at all.

From personal experience, keeping knee warmers up for any length of time is an achievement in itself. Great ride by Valverde so far (a long time since I've been able to bring myself to say that...)

Entire peloton disqualified for riding on the path!

Terpstra lead going out a bit - 17".

30" now and lots of looking around.
  • Cofidis look like they need some points!

Looking Like Terpstra might have this. Chase group has stopped making inroads and main group some way back.

Terpstra doesn't look as fluid as the four chasers but they are certainly having to work hard to close this down. Still 17 secs and 40 secs to next bunch.

Terpstra is managing to hold this gap at 18", what an effort.

Peloton looks like its bursting into action though. 7.7km remaining.

Group behind up the speed and then a Garmin rider goes with Boonen covering. All coming back together but Terpstra is not faltering at all.
