Hi guys, following on from my previous post I have discounted 29ers due to my short legs! Went and tried a couple in the shop and it feels like I am sitting on a tractor.
I am looking at these two now as they are a good fit having tried both at the shop.

Although I can see the spec is better on the Team model, is it worth the £200 extra?
Spoke with my LBS and they can't take the Halfords cycle to work voucher but told me to go for 650b boardman to "future proof" my choice. I don't want to start the whole wheel size debate, 650b fits me well so I'm happy with it for now. They also said to get the best frame I can afford and all else can be swapped if need be later on...is that relevant at this price point do you think?
Cheers again.

Yes, I'd pay the extra. The fork is lighter and smoother, and better parts throughout.0
