Ok, So following on from my other thread I tried the Bianchi veloce today at Evans and have decided it's probably more than I need in both spec and price.

I need help with the specs of 2 other Bianchi bikes before I make a final decision.

1st one being
Bianchi C2C Via Nirone Xenon Compact 2013 Bike priced at £799 from winstanleys
http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/produ ... _2013_Bike

The other is Bianchi Bianchi Via Nirone Tiagra priced at £890 from Evans
http://www.evanscycles.com/products/bia ... e-ec060513

Which group set is the better, more reliable?
Would I notice a difference between the 2? I would prefer the Xenon as it's the cheaper of the two bikes.
But if the Tiagra is worth the extra £90 I will happily go for that.
Also what has the better wheels?

Please help as I'm keen to get a bike sorted by next weekend.

  • Nothing in it, just how the shifters will feel in your hands.

Do they do any other colour rather than that ghastly celeste?

What's the rest of the spec, not much between the groupsets but the wheels may be different...
Condor Super Acciaio, Record, Deda, Pacentis.
Curtis 853 Handbuilt MTB, XTR, DT Swiss and lots of Hope.
Genesis Datum Gravel Bike, Pacentis (again).
    Genesis Equilibrium Disc, 105 & H-Plus-Son.

    Mostly Steel.

Blimey I get enough stick from "proper" Bianchi owners because I went for a Shimano groupset. I reckon you may wake to find a horse's head in your bed if you carry on with that nonsense
