Campag Shamal - rim joint poor quality?
Relatively new wheels - well about a year with little use. I removed the stickers to conceal committing the sin of all sins After swapping to shimano 9000. I was somewhat surprised to see the crap rim joint detail on all the wheels. The rear wheel is worse with sections of the joint missing bits of weld or whatever it is (even looks a little like filler!) but I don't have it at hand to photo.
Is this typical? I've not come across it quite as bad on any other wheels, even dirt cheap ones and I've certainly owned a fair few. I also have a set of Zondas where the joints are virtually invisible.

The quality of the welding is not a good indicator of the quality of the rim... the best finished could be the worst joints, for what you know... ride it and don't worryleft the forum March 20230
