Raising bars

Hi everyone,

I'm after a bit of advice: I want to raise the handlebars on my cube reaction by about 3 inches, but Im not really sure of the best way to go about it. I have an easton stem and easton monkey bars currently fitted to the bike but Im not sure which models either of these parts are exactly  and I can't see it anywhere on the parts. They came already fitted to the bike which I bought second hand a couple of years ago. I've attached a few pictures so you get the idea and maybe someone could identify the parts?

thanks in advance,

David.

You will need to buy a new stem. Of you could just try a shorter one.

Best bet will be your LBS so you can a few.

You will loose a lot of front end grip and steering control if you raise the bars that much. Try a short stem, that will also give you a more upright position without taking away as much grip and control.
