Need a 10 speed shifter

Thinking of buying this (Right Hand option). However Im a little confused as to what they mean by "double"? The bike it is going on has a "triple" chainset.
Im not changing the front mech or shifter so I dont see what the shifter for the rear mech has to do with doubles or triples. Whatever, is this leaver OK on a shimano triple chainset system?
