On One Inbred Seatpost Tube size

My son's got an old (not sure how old) On One Inbred frame.

I'm after a QR seatpost clamp, but unsure of diameter.

On One's new Inbred frames state that the Seatpost clamp size is 29.8, but the front mech clamp size 28.6. I think that on the new frames, the seatpost tube is wider at the top (double butted?) than the rest of the seat-tube. On my son's frame, it is the same diamter all the way down. Is it likely to be 28.6 that I need then ... or were some older Inbred frames narrower than that?

Have emailed On One ... but just wondered whether anyone on here would know that info anyway.
