Hi All
I fancy a new bike and have only been looking online so far so could do with some advice as to whether I am looking at the right type of bike. It's the Whyte 901 2014 but I was wondering if it is really the sort of bike that you would use for mostly trail centres. I go out mostly for pleasure / fitness along roads, bridle ways, cycle routes, railway tracks, and across the Downs / Ridgeway as they are on the doorstep so looking for an enjoyable all round bike. I don't fully get the trail/ Xc thing. From my description of my riding would this bike be ok ? I have decided I want a 650b bike but that's it so far. Sorry I don't know how to post a link, I hope that doesn't affect replies.
Thanks

It's a do it all bike that can handle the stuff you mention as well as really rough terrrain. From what you say though you won't be doing much technical riding so you won't 'need' such a machine but it is light and will do the job fine. You may find a cross bike would do the job too but wouldn't cope with really rough trials if thats what you decide to do one day.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0
