Rear hub?

I've just had a look at a 2nd hand bike on pink bike it's a 2012 kona tanuki deluxe, supposed to be in immaculate condition but the guy says probably needs a new rear hub. Anyone know what it would cost to get my lbs to do this? i think they are easton xc hubs. Thanks.

What hub is on there and what's wrong with it? It's unlikely to need more than a freehub or bearings.
Otherwise you may as well just buy a complete wheel. A hub will cost you £80ish plus around £30 for a rebuild.

The ad just says it rides fine but kicks out now and again.

Probably just needs a new freehub. £50 should cover it.
