route advice for tomorrow

Hi,

Got my first day out in a long time tomorrow, but the weather looks awful. Apart from llandegla are there any really well sheltered routes/trails within 2 hrs of Merseyside?

    Gisburn or Cannock maybe?

    Sorry just saw your reply, your advice was good. Cannock was in amazing condition, the ground was dry and we got back to the car just as the rain started, which was like the cherry on the cake. With gusts of 45 mph at home and 75 in Snowdonia I was nicely surprised at how sheltered it was. I know it was a forest trail but we rode in base layers and pads with the wind barely registering. First time at Cannock, really good trail.
