All right folks thought i d post this in general as Im keen for any tips on tyre choices and any other info folks have?

Headed down easter time for a week or so planning on going via chamonix through the tunnel and on into finale.

Many thanks in advance. Also anyone know where i can pick up a copy of the Blue book guide for finale rumor has it that it is a decent guide book. Anyone seen it in the UK?

I know people who went back in January but haven't been myself. Apparently it's mostly fast and natural, like Exmoor but hotter.
I would have thought just about any good dry downhill tyre should do you or if you're riding xc/am then a big volume tyre with stiff sidewalls.
