issue with ui2 rear mech connection
Got a problem with my Ui2 rear mech.
Rear hanger broke, so replaced it and attached the mech. Everything appears to work ok, but the electric cable does not stay connected to the rear of the mech – it needs some pressure to connect, but when it is pushed in the connection appears fine and gear changes happen as expected.
I have the Ui2 wire tools at home, so not sure if this is what I need to fully connect the cable. Looking at the 6770 dealer’s manual it appears that the wire tool isn’t required for this connection.
Do I need a new cable and a visit to the LBS or will the wire tool sort me out?
Thanks all

You should attach all the cables using one of these http://www.evanscycles.com/products/shimano/tl-ew02-ultegra-di2-plug-tool-ec038842, you use the rounded end for connecting and the other end for disconnecting. There should be an audible click when each connector is engaged, if not check the connector to make sure it's not damaged, then check the rear mech also for damage.'Hello to Jason Isaacs'0

Thanks for that.
Have the tool at home, so will ride home in a middle gear. Just questioned it as it's not in the manual.
