right... so.. after cleaning the bike tpday after yesterdays abuse, ive noticed that my DMR V12 have developed play in the bushing side (pedals only have 1 bearing??) after not all that abuse?
i dont like play in stuff... gives me the heebie jeebies!
so.. im after a tidy flat pedal to replace them!
Superstar nano thru's seem to be the go-to pedal, but they are essentially out of stock untill perhaps may sometime?
otherwise, the next step seems to be shimano MX80's?
Nukeproof electrons? plastic? but thru pins and serviceable?
I'd like thru pins rather than grub screws, but its not essential, and it could do with being serviceable... wet welsh hills dont do anything much good...
something around the £40 mark would be superb!
any ideas? opinions? comments?

The grub screw version comes in loads of colours. Moove pedals look very similar too, with better through pins, but the Exotics are cheaper.

Have you tried adjusting and re-greasing the pedals you've got? You should be able to get the end caps off and it's all laid out in there to be stripped, cleaned, greased, re-assembled and adjusted perfectly.Specialized Roubaix Elite 2015

Yup! V12s have one cartridge bearing on the outside. And a bush on the inside....
Said bushing has worn with all the lovely sandy gritty wet mankyness that we have had lately.
They still work, but are a little slack on the bushing side and you can hear the pedal rattle
As for the nanos... For me they have no stock in the colours I want...0 -
Just get the nano tech's and buy the spare pins for£30

I think the general consensus is get Superstar or Shimano, depending on whether or not you are bothered about 50g.Cube Analog 2012 with various upgrades.0

I was interested in the Nukeproof electrons, untill i also realised they were CONVEX!?!?!
whats that all about?
well, ive just ordered some exotic grub screw pedals from Carboncycles. cheers for the head up!
supposed to be the same as nano's, so should be good?
thru pin variants seem to be like rocking horse poo, so ive plumped for the normal ones... at £34, ill see how they go!
thanks for the pointers guys!0 -
