Understated Bike Frames on a Budget

I love the look of the understated Ti frames but they're out of my budget. What's available in a classic low logo look? I like the look of the Charge Plug but not interested in discs and would rather a better groupset. Is there much else available in the £1,000 or am I best off buying the best bike I can and saving up for my hand built dream bike?

A Bob Jackson f&f is £500- with canny selections you could probably build it up for £1000? (nearly)

Ah super, thanks. Looks like building it up would be the best bet. Some more shopping will be in order methinks.0

Genesis Equilibrium? Can pick up last years frame and fork for pretty cheap on the net or just buy as a complete.

Stock seems low at the moment but I think that this is a good price at £260;

If you don't mind importing/specifying yourself then a custom Ti frame from someone like Waltly is a option for around £500 shipped. See the thread by Dozzina in Your Road Bikes for pics/spec etc. A route I am considering when funds allow.0

If your budget is £1000 for a frame, Burls is my recommendation. They will do you you a custom-geometry Ti frame made by ex-Colnago builders in Russia, for £1050.0
