Back Cycling...
Well, after too long a break the bike has been dragged out of hibernation, and is currently in the LBS being serviced.
Its not that I am a total Girlie when it comes to servicing, but too many things needed doing, so thought better off getting a full service, as having bled the brakes before I would rather pay someone else rather than do the swearing!
Also needs new brake pads, chain, maybe rear cassette, and front wheel re-truing ...
Did go for a short ride last weekend, thats when I decided the brakes really needed help!!!
I could do it all, but I know the guys at the LBS will be quicker, and have the right tools!
Should be back ready for next weekend, so better start getting out and enjoying it.
We recently moved house, one of the reasons for this was to have a garage for the bikes- no longer are they in the upstairs dining room, and because Exeter have great local cycling, where as where we lived before involved slogs on fast roads to get anywhere! (or bikes into car and rive even for a short ride)
Here is to a great new cycling year!
Hows everyone elses plans looking??

I would like to ride a bike, but first I have to buy it. The last one I had is broken... I found a cool bike on the website http://bike4you.co.uk . Has anyone used this site?0

Hmm?
The web address is 'bike4you' but the business name is 'Bikes For All', the contact number is a mobile phone, parts of the website are written in Polish but the address says Jersey.
I'd steer clear.“Life has been unfaithful
And it all promised so so much”
