Hi All.
With Shimano front chain rings are they 10 speed specific or do 8 or 9 speed work as well as long as the bold pattern is the same, I have a 10x3 and the front chain rings are SGX.

Shimano claim they're specific (and I'm sure they are in some tiny way), but no, it makes no difference whether you have 9 or 10spd rings.0

9 speed rings will work fine, i run a 9spd m590 chainset with xt 10sp kit without any problems.0
