I have a Scott scale 30 frame with rp23 and a Boardman pro frame (26") all the other parts are the same so they both weigh exactly the same built up. Which would you use in a race on the world cup route?

    Assume you mean a Spark 30, if it's got an RP23? 29er, or 26"?

Either way frankly I'd use the Spark.

Sorry yes its a spark 30 carbon it had a DT Swiss nudes in it and changed it to an RP23 both 26" as I have used all the parts of my Boardman pro onto it but the frame. I bought the frame with older Reba forks with reduced travel to 90mm from 110 would you use the newer 120mm travel forks (2011) or ones that are around 2008 model with reduced travel? Thanks

Personally I'd not start swapping forks around. I'd ride the Spark as it's set up. The World Cup course isn't that bad, there are a couple of sections that a bit entertaining on a race bike - Worry Gill, just lean back and don't brake, and Medusa's Drop, which is just quite rooty. If you're not confident, just take the B-line.
