I have a rockshox tora k 120mm. I have found a fox vanilla r for a good price but I realised it is from 2005. Is it still a good fork? And will it be better than my tora?
Thanks, Ali

unlikely and probably a lot lot heavier too0

It'll likely be a upto half a pound lighter but about equal in other respects.0

Tora was a good fork at the time, still is if serviced and set up properly.0

Unless its been regularly serviced and looked after it's most likely either near or at or past the end of its useful life. I wouldn't buy a 9 year old fork.
Stick with the Tora.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
what about upgrading to a 2008 Fox float RL 140mm?0

I've got the 2007 version which is the exactly same fork- they didn't change anything that year, and it's a good fork- I like it a lot, but again, you don't know how well it has been maintained or the price0
