noise when braking?

Any ideas got some new wheels fitted, when braking I'm getting a click click sound as soon as I stop braking it stops?
I have checked the brake pads and rims and can't see anything?? Can't work out what it is as only happens when I brake and on the rear wheel?? any ideas

    Could be the seam on the rim sitting a bit proud.

    thanks, on further inspection I noticed a little flick of metal coming from the rim, whats the best way to get rid of it?

    I use the sharp end of a rifling file - but just go at it lightly and direct with something sharp and pointy - try to 'flick' it off.
