    Found the problem… The right pedal. :) I use toe clip, track style pedals and one of both of the plate/facia bits of metal on the right pedal was the source. Cleaning, greasing and tightening sorted it. I think the hollow cranks amplified the sound and made it harder to realise it was the pedals. Very pleased to have found that and really pleased about the fact it wasn't, as was suggested in quite a few replies, the BB.

    I did check the BB30's tightness (before realising it was the pedal) and my torque wrench clicked before any sign of movement of the bolt. And I did start to try and undo it but it was too tight, at least at first few attempts. So it's certainly not not tight enough.
