I have read that the Specialized Venge has uses BB30 typ ebottom bracket and that Shimano chainsets aren't compatible so they are pictured with FSA ones. But I have seen one for sale as a 2013 model with what looks like an Ultegra Chainset? Is it possible this is actually an older frame or none BB30?
Couple of 5 spots, a hummer and a handjob.....

There's most likely a BB30 to Shimano adaptor fitted as standard, easily removed, although it last year's model mightn't of had a BB30, a quick google will solve that answer for you
Here's an example of the adaptor: http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-track-bike/rsp-bb30-to-shimano-adaptor-inc-sealed-bearings/RSPABTBZ2000000000000 -
Praxis do a nice adapter (Google "praxis bb30 adapter") which joins in the middle so it tightens itself in rather than just press fitting. No creaking, no spacers :0) Plenty of options though.0
