Cycling holiday with the family

The wife is super keen on going for a cycling holiday with the kids aged 1 (so trailer or bike seat) and 5 (currently rides a islabikes cnoc 16). We want it to be completely on paths and off roads. We have seen that Dalby Forest and Sherwood Forest have got some decent routes but I would be happy to know if there are anymore which are not too far from Cambridge.
It would also be great to hear from the point of view of accomodation (ie B&Bs that can accept bikes, etc).
Any ideas or pointers would be really appreciated.
