Mudguards for a Van Nicholas Mistral

any recommendations please? I've had Crud racers on another bike and they keep breaking....

I'd like something that looks nicer if possible.

    SKS race longs. Best road guards I've found so far. Only difficulty is finding some, they have changed distribution in the UK, so stocks are patchy.

    raceblades or something of that style are I think your only option. I couldn't get cruds to fit - the clearance under the front fork was a big issue plus the significant toe overlap made them a nightmare.

    in the end I went for the cost un-effective option and bought a bike that could take guards for winter commuting duties...
