Replacement chain and cassette

Unfortunately bringing my MTb out of retirement and riding it has stretched the chain. So need a new one, but not sure which?
It's an 8 x 3 set up. XT rear m750 XT front, the chain is marked as IG31 narrow.
Which chain do I need to buy please?
Also what cassette if that has been ruined by the stretch?
Thanks
Chris

These will do the trick. Bear in mind you'll need a chain tool to shorten the new chain to the correct length, if you don't have one already.

Is the kmc chain ok with shimano cassette?0 -
Makes no difference, but KMC is better than Shimano anyway, and comes with a master link instead of a stupid pin.I don't do smileys.

Thanks guys - master link/stupid pin are these how you undo and reattach the chain?0

Master link yes, they are easy and reusable. Stupid pins are not and are just stupid. So if you do end up with a Shimano chain, buy a Sram or KMC master link (quick link or whatever they actually call them.)I don't do smileys.
