My new bike, a 1986 SBDU Raleigh in 531Pro with a 2014 Veloce groupset.
Colour is original, it's red on yellow, only ever seen one other in this scheme, suspect it might have been a Dutch race teams colours, unless anyone knows better.
Really pleased with it so thought I would post a few pictures.

Can't beat an old Raleigh ;) Did you have to get the rear dropouts, widened, for want of a better word?

The 10 speed fitted fine without the need to resort to brute force.

That's bloody lovely! I think you may be right about the Dutch team colour; there's a windmill on the seat-tube :D

That's nice. Deserves Ultratorque - though really DT shifters would be the proper thing. Hope you are going to put some frame protection on before the gear cables spoil the paintwork.
    Faster than a tent.......

The windmill is part of a logo for a Dutch bike shop, their website advertises their speciality as race bikes.

It was deliberate to have integrated shifters because I couldn't go back to down tube shifters, even though the 80's are more my era. I'm on the lookout for a nice silver chainstay protector.

Interesting, might give renovating a steel frame a go now if it'll take 10 -Spd

    Thanks :D
