I'm new :o

I am an onsite maintenance engineer and caretaker at a local farm, farmshop & restaurant and have been driving since starting there agesss ago! I have finally ditched the car for 3 days a week and am now commuting "cross country". Road, dirt, hills, river bank as well as an A road.

All good fun. First day I nearly died :o This is now my second week and am getting there slowly lol.

Thought I'd touch base and when I get a chance I will film my little route :)

    Welcome, I wish I could commute off-road.
    XC: Giant Anthem X
    Fun: Yeti SB66
Road: Litespeed C1, Cannondale Supersix Evo, Cervelo R5
    Trainer: Bianchi via Nirone
Hack: GT hardtail with Schwalbe City Jets
  • Off-road commuter here too.
It can be fun, but when it is wet (like it has been for the last 6 months), you get tired quickly and the bike starts to fall to bits quicker.
Remember to clean and lube the drive-train regularly.
