  • I use SKS raceblade longs on my Secteur. Pretty sturdy, easy to fit, good coverage and you can unclip them when not needed. I have 25mm tyres and the raceblsdes are fine for that width. The only downside is that there is no protection under the brake calipers or headtube. Other SKS models offer full coverage and will be better for wider tyres but Im not sure on clearance.
  • Anything by SKS will be acceptable I have just replaced the SKS guards that have been on one of my bikes for 30 years. I bought the the new ones from here, http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000 ... UTF8&psc=1 but many people sell them. Providing you take care when fitting, they will be rigid and rattle free. Unlike race blades these are a semi permanent fixture.
I don't do Cold, Wet, Uphill or into the wind!!

Which model? Is it the Sport Disc or a vanilla?

If it's the Disc Version then fitting SKS Raceblade XL best option for quick on and off but... you need to use the front mount on the back of the bike because of the cable routing down the outside of the rear seat stay. I ended up using the rear guard on the front (it goes nearly to the floor so I get much less spray on my feet) and the front on the rear, it keeps most of the spray off my bum and back. Ideally I'd like a rear length guard at both ends.
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.
  • Im getting the Sectuer sport disc (http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bikes/ ... sport-disc)
