BB30 bottom bracket
Hi folks first post in this part of the forum.
I'm currently building a dolan etape with 105 groupset on it, just realised it takes a bb30 bottom bracket, will I have to go and buy one or can I use an adapter for my 105 bb to get it to fit. If i do have to buy a BB30 will my 105 crankset fit into it without any issues?
First time I've done this and fumbling my way through, any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

this is what you will need
Does this insert into the BB and my shimano bb screws onto it. *simples
Apologies if I'm coming across a bit stupid.0 -
The press-fit adaptor is a workshop job - best get your LBS to do it. My choice would be the Praxis Works adapter, or KCNC if money is tight:

I've had both the wheels manufacturing inserts and the praxis bottom bracket. The praxis one started to click after less than 100 miles and has just been back to the shop to be epoxied in the mechanic said that this was the 2nd one that has come back clicking. The wheels manufacturing inserts never creaked or clicked until the bearings gave up and the overall cost is about the same including bearings.0
